The Municipality of Egedal in Denmark has decided to strengthen the energy requirements for a new settlement to be erected in the municipality.
During the class 1 project more than 440 dwellings, a kindergarten and an activity centre for elderly people will be designed and constructed with a heating energy consumptions and an overall primary energy consumption better than what is required for a low energy class 1 building according to the newest Danish Building regulation.
