Sandnes, Dale, Norway

Sandnes is the second largest town in the Rogaland County in Norway. Situated at the end of the Gandsfjord, the Dale area will be developed as a modern residential area within the coming years. The Dale estate is a beautiful area with a valley covered of green forest and mountains. In addition, there is a 4 km shoreline which will be developed for the purpose of recreation and boating.


The CONCERTO approach


Within the PIME'S project, new family houses and houses of flats will be constructed and the rehabilitation of some of the old buildings in the area will be undertaken. The aim will be a sustainable environment with high tech energy solutions and building materials.

The area around Dale that is regarded in the PIME´S project includes 100 to 150 modern houses that are constructed environmental friendly. This is a central issue within the concept of Dale eiendommen and includes also old buildings.

In addition, the renovation of the old hydro power station is planned as well as the use of solar energy in the sommer months.

By that, this new location of Sandnes will be one of the most attractive areas around.
