DESCRIPTION of
PROJECT
The
sesac project’s full name is ‘Sustainable Energy Systems in Advanced Cities’.
sesac demonstrates how a more sustainable local energy economy can be achieved
through implementation of energy efficiency (EE) measures in new and
refurbished buildings and increase in the use of renewable energy sources (RES) technology and systems for electricity supply, as well as for heating and
cooling is being applied.
Tools
for effective policymaking, implementation, monitoring and management of
the sustainable energy processes are developed throughout the sesac project. Researchers will analyse and ensure the quality of the measures demonstrated, whilst city
networks will make the results available to others interested in getting
involved.
